Transition Edinburgh city-wide group invites you to Painting Edinburgh Green, a two-day event celebrating community action for a more sustainable Edinburgh. It takes place on the weekend of 25-26 September at Out of the Blue Drill Hall on Dalmeny Street, EH6 9DB.

Marketplace, Saturday 25 September, 11am to 4pm

On this day there will be an information marketplace of local community groups and other organisations who work in areas such as food, energy and community development. There will also be a children’s events programme throughout the day.

Resilience Workshops, Sunday 26 September, 10am to 4pm

This day offers a programme of speakers and workshops looking at the theme of resilience. A communal breakfast and lunch will be served.

Cost is free. Details of the programme are available on the Transition Edinburgh website.  To book a place on the Sunday programme please fill out the booking form.

This is a great opportunity for individuals and grass-roots groups to get together and share ideas for growing our communities into greener, more vibrant, happier places to live – we hope you’ll join us!

For more information please contact Transition Edinburgh or see the flier.

cheers from Julia and Johanna
