Big Green Makeover achievements so far…

We’re pleased to share with you that over the last two academic years, we have…. (drum roll):
-Trained over 90 volunteers over 4 semesters!
-Worked with 104 homes – saving 126 tonnes CO2!
-Held 128 personal consultations at 39 Energy Saving Advice Clinics around campus – saving 67 tonnes CO2!
-Worked with Resident Assistants to save over 100 tonnes in University self-catered accommodation!
-Held over a dozen workshops!Hurray! Congratulations to everyone for the hard work and keen participation that’s happened over the last 18 months. What the above list doesn’t reflect is the hundreds of hours that we have collectively spent bringing the project to life and making it happen!

Our CCF Work is Ending: Time to Celebrate and Plan What’s Next

Transition Edinburgh University has reached the end of its 16-month Climate Challenge Fund project and we’ve got a lot to celebrate. Sadly we have heard that we will not be receiving continued funding from the Climate Challenge Fund this year, which means a change in direction for the project.
