written by Irina Nedelcu on March 23, 2011Don’t miss the chance to become a Carbon Conversations Facilitator. Sign up for the 2 day Carbon Conversations Facilitator Training 9-10 April 2011 in Central Scotland
This two-day training for facilitators is being held to support various community groups across Scotland who wish to begin their own CarbonConversations groups. There will be a charge of £165 per person, in line with the costs charged by Cambridge Carbon Footprint (CCF), originators of the course. Astrid Horward and Pam McLean are offering this course in Stirling. Both are very experienced facilitators and environmentalists. They are CCF Designated Trainers for facilitators of Carbon Conversations and have facilitated several Carbon Conversations groups between them.
Carbon Conversations has now had over 1000 participants across the UK, 250 of those in Scotland, with average immediate savings of over 1 tonne perperson. You don’t need to be an expert to become a Carbon Conversations facilitator, but you need to be passionate about facilitating change in yourcommunity, and recognise the benefits of doing so through a values and emotions-based course.
To book your place, please contact Pam on 07970 327975 or pamela.mclean@candeaconsulting.co.uk. Carbon Conversation groups are run by a pair of facilitators, so it is best if you have someone else in your area who has already trained or who can come to this training.
The training will be held at the Logie Kirk Halls in Causewayhead, Stirling from 9:30 to 5pm both days and will include lunch and coffee/tea breaks. Pam can help find places to stay overnight if required. This entry was posted on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011 at 12:00 pm and is filed under Blog, Front Page, Learning.
