Join the Big Green Makeover team
Would you like to join a team of committed and creative volunteers that make the Big Green Makeover project happen? Please email us on bgm@teu.org.uk!
By inspiring and supporting others, you will get the chance to improve your communication, team-work and time management skills, as well as gain an understanding of energy efficiency and practical sustainability more generally.
1. Become a Volunteer Adviser
There are many opportunities to work with students and staff to help them save money and make their homes more sustainable, including:
- Helping with Home Visits
Work in pairs with one or more homes to help them identify potential changes, make these happen and plan next steps. - Helping with Energy Saving Advice Clinics
Can you spare half a day twice a month or more? Help out staff and students at Advice Clinics in your campus! - Helping with Workshops
It’s hands-on and interactive so people power is needed! Help come up with games and activities, and play them on the day!
