25 Aug. 2010 Special Event: Hard Rain show with Mark Edwards, part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival
Mark Edwards presents his striking photography exhibition “Hard Rain“, displayed 22 August – 26 September at the University of Edinburgh, linking images of climate change to Bob Dylan’s words.
This presentation is an account of the personal and environmental journey Mark Edwards began in 1969 that led to this exhibition. ‘Most important … is the sheer brilliance of the dialogue Edwards has created between the words and images’ (Fintan O’Toole, Irish Times). “…one of the most powerful presentations I have ever seen – it has a huge impact on people.’ (Jonathan Porritt, Forum for the Future).
